"Sound design"

Sound design refers to the post production/edit of all acoustic elements of a film. Sounds are re-recorded and inserted and atmos and effects are added to scenes to create a stronger atmosphere and mood. Dialogs are re-dubbed by professional voice actors.
Sound design fixes tonal frictions and aims to enhance the dramaturgy and emotions among the audience. Moods like fear can therefore not only be created with music, but also with the help of high, disturbing and uneasy sounds and atmos.
Gemafreie Welten offers a wide variety of sounds and sound effects in a constantly growing and easy-to-use database.
